Chili Prawn Pasta

Simply an amazing recipe! This Spicy Chili Prawn Pasta is a total crowd pleaser to make all year round, and the only thing that requires chopping is parsley. You can have this on the table in just 15 minutes!

Ingredients

24 Prawns (Frozen Or Raw)

400g Pasta E.G. Penne, Linguine, Spaghetti, Tagliatelle

2 Cloves Garlic, Crushed

1 Red Chili (Or To Taste), Finely Chopped

400g Tinned Chopped Tomatoes

Lemon Wedges, To Serve

Fresh Basil, To Garnish

Instructions

  1. If using frozen uncooked prawns, defrost prior to cooking as per pack instructions.
  2. Cook the pasta according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. And add the prawns. Season with black pepper and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add the garlic and chili and cook for another minute before adding the tomatoes. Reduce the heat to low and simmer gently for 5 minutes or until the pasta is cooked.
  5. When the pasta is cooked, drain and toss it through the sauce.
  6. Serve immediately, with a squeeze of lemon juice and garnished with the basil.
